Are you a proud foodie? Love treating yourself to delicious food whilst on holiday? Enjoy the social aspect of eating, outside, in a stunning setting like Majorca? Then all our guests in our Gran Isla Hotels in the Santa Ponsa area are in for a treat this weekend, starting from Friday. For, in the main square of Port Adriano, 6 mins away from the Santa Ponsa bus station in car or 17 mins by bus (no. 104), the port town is hosting its annual Port Adriano Street Food Festival.
Many of us have experienced a street food festival and many of us enjoy them greatly. What’s not to love? You have hundreds of food options to choose from, you get to sit outside in glorious weather (in Majorca anyway!) and you get to socialise and chat with your family & friends and even make new friends! And the best part of them is that they’re not just for one age group: children, young adults, families, couples, older people; anyone can participate. They’re a great opportunity to get everyone together and experience new dishes or old favourites.
What’s great about this festival is that the gastronomic offer is wide and plentiful. There is something for absolutely everyone: those who prefer to eat organically, vegetarians, vegans, those who want to try typical food from Majorca, international, classic…Read below for info on all the food trucks:
–Nomad: Chicken sticks in Japanese tempura, gourmet hot dogs with vegan options.
–Corazón Natural: Organic smoothies and fruit juices, vegan & vegetarian skewers, pizzas, empanadas…

Children will enjoy fantastic evening entertainment with Florinda: a clueless fairy who escapes to Port Adriano to tell magical stories to children and turn them into their favourite characters through spells and paints their faces. Florinda will be around on Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September from 8pm to 11pm.
For adults, they can enjoy this festival in a Latin musical atmosphere with vibrant music that includes salsa, mambo and cha cha songs. In the evenings from 10pm-midnight adults will be able to enjoy open classes and Latino dance shows. Professional dancers will teach visitors their best steps and share their moves and knowledge of the dances.
If you are at any of our Gran Isla Hotels this weekend, then we strongly recommend you visit this food festival in Port Adriano as it’s a fun and different thing to do and really easy to get to from any of our Santa Ponsa resorts.
