As the clock ticks towards November, the sun is due to set over the Gran Isla Hotels for the final time in 2019. It only seems like yesterday that we were opening our doors for the start of the season, yet seven months have flown by and boy has it been a blast! It’s been an amazing year once again at each one of our hotels in the Balearic Islands and we’ve loved every single minute. It’s been so much fun seeing some familiar faces again and making memories for the first time with so many fantastic families. As we reminisce of the plethora of fantastic moments that were created in 2019, we also look forward to the new year and everything it brings. We are determined to make the 2020 holiday season the best yet and we look forward to seeing you all on your next family getaway to Majorca!
So it’s another summer season in Majorca that comes to an end. There’s a wealth of things that we will miss over the winter break but the memories made give us so many reason to be smile upon the last 7 months. We’ve fully enjoyed the glorious Majorcan climate, adventurous hikes through the Tramuntana Mountains, taking a dip in the crystal clear waters of some of the best beaches in Europe, indulging on the best of Mediterranean cuisine, forgetting the stresses of daily life whilst relaxing around the pool, enjoying a delicious cocktail during the beautiful Mediterranean sunsets, cycling along the blessed Balearic coastline, taking a trip to the fascinating, charming villages of Majorca, dancing with the dimonis during the various cultural parties and saying goodbye to each and every one of your with a smile on our faces.
There’s been so many things to do in Majorca in the Summer, without even taking into consideration everything that Palmanova and Santa Ponsa has to offer. When do the Hotels close and reopen?
Hotel Tropico was first to close on Sunday 20th October and will reopen on Saturday 4th April 2020.
Whilst Pirates Village closes on Friday 1st November. Although the hotel has witnessed the final performance of the famous ‘Pirates Attack’ show of the season. The pirate themed hotel in Santa Ponsa will be the first to reopen the 1st April 2020.
