Mallorca Live Festival is by the biggest of the music festival in Majorca. The newly expanded music event now takes place over 3 days and brings a wealth of international and nationally proclaimed artists to this beautiful island in the Mediterranean. Year-upon-year, the festival has grown with new elements emerging every May. For the first time, festival will run from a Thursday to Saturday night (14th-16th May) in the usual location not too far from our Hotel in Palmanova. So if you are seeking the best live music in Palmanova, the event should feature highly on your list of places to visit in Majorca. There are various other music events in Majorca, including the Port Adriano Music Festival throughout the summer and concerts in Majorca feature huge names like Lionel Richie who will be performing on the island. Whereas, Mallorca Live is unique in its programme of diverse artists covering a range of genres, gastronomic options with an array of food and drink available (including vegan options) and overall atmosphere to create an event at forefront of the Majorca entertainment scene. The festival will set you back a cool 82€ for a weekend ticket or 99€ for all three days, which seems very reasonable in comparison to a number of European festivals.
Who is performing at Mallorca Live Festival 2020?
Last year at Mallorca Live 2019, the standard was set with a wealth of big name artists. Talented bands such as Jamiroquai, Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines embraced the island for a weekend of high quality music. And it seems that in 2020, the intensity is still coming! The Mallorca Live Festival Lineup features a number of international headliners, as well as a diverse range of national artists and musicians from the island, in what can be described as a melting pot of music talent.

The biggest name on the lineup is The Pet Shop Boys. The duo of Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant are hitting the stage once more in their upcoming Pet Shop Boys Tour and you can hear some of their top hits, including ‘Go West’ and ‘It’s A Sin’ on the Saturday night of the festival. BBC Radio One’s Sound of 2012 winner Michael Kiwanuka will also be performing on the Saturday, as well as the rock band Temples.
One of Spain most famous artists, Crystal Fighters, who have created music over an array of genres, are the main headliners performing on the Friday night. You can also expect to see Miles Kane, indie-rock soloist and one half of The Last Shadow Puppets (with Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys). London-born spoken word performer Kate Tempest also features on the Friday night lineup.

The location of Mallorca Live Festival can be found just a few minutes’ drive away from our Gran Isla Hotels in the Southwest of Majorca. Taking place at the old waterpark behind the popular holiday destination of Magaluf.
The Antiguo Aquapark is a 5-minute drive from the Hotel Tropico in Palmanova, whilst our three hotels in Santa Ponsa: Pirates Village, Plazamar Serenity Resort and Jutlandia Family Resortare just 6 minutes away.
Over the weekend, the transport system in Majorca (TIB) put on several buses starting in Palma that run to the festival, also stopping in Palmanova on the way.
