A wealth of superyachts are moored in the marina after the 2012 redevelopment.
For many years, this was a port that was always up and coming. Surrounded by a number of purpose built holiday resorts, there was always a wealth of expectation to what could become of Port Adriano. Back in 2012, the entire port was redeveloped by the architect Philippe Starck with the main idea to create more large berths, that can hold boats up to 100 metres, for the super yacht community due to a lack of mooring spaces for Majorca’s most elite yacht owners. But with the redevelopment brought a range of new commercial and touristic values including a vast, modern, maritime shopping centre in the heart of the port, featuring high end fashion designers and delicious cutting edge restaurants. All of which have given Port Adriano a different, more luxurious facade than the surrounding towns in the region of Calvia.
