As many of you will know, whether you are returning guests at Pirates Village Apartments or you’ve heard from family and friends or read on various holiday websites, at our resort in Santa Ponsa we never hold back… Every year, we get bigger and better and show constant effort in making your family holiday your most forgettable yet, something we wouldn’t be able to do without the unrelentless support of our guests and local community of Santa Ponsa.
With that being said, this season has started off with a bang (quite literally!) with a great number of returnees and new faces heading our way in Santa Ponsa. We’ve announced the winners of our caption competition, had many fun Pirate Attacks, created a new personalised Pirates Village chat group and are continuing with our adventure comic book where all the proceeds go to a good cause.
So let’s start with the winners of our caption competition. Congratulations to the 6 lucky winners of this great competition where they had to add a funny caption to each of the photos of our pirates to win a VIP table during their stay which includes cocktails and champagne with the opportunity to be joined by the pirate captain of their choice. See the funny captions for yourself here on the official Pirates Village Apartments facebook page. Don’t worry if you missed out on this competition though because, as you already know, the fun and contests are never-ending at our resort!
Moving onto our Pirates Attack, this is probably the main reason why our guests love returning year after year to our resort; because of the fun daytime Pirates Attack that’s on every Saturday from 12:50. Pirates Attack is exactly what you can imagine: all our pirates come out to fight and battle around the pool area and provide hours of fun and adventure for the kids. (It’s also very interactive so both kids and adults can join in). Don’t worry if you happen to miss it though because we have a full week’s program for the little ones and adults, just see here on our previous Gran Isla blog post.
Because of the theme of our hotel; the fact that is one of the most interactive hotels on the island, thus making it one of the best places for both children and adults to make friends with other like-minded families, we thought we would create a new Pirates Village chat group for guests to share comments, opinions and ask important questions about our resort, the services we provide, the children and adults programs and also the destination of Santa Ponsa. As we know, we live in a generation where social media is the fastest and probably easiest way to share opinions and ask questions (thus the reason why we have created this facebook chat group) but if you wish to get into direct contact with us, please do so by filling out the form here, on our official Gran Isla Hotels website and a member of our team will get back to you as quickly as possible to answer all your queries as efficiently as possible. We’ll also let you in on a little secret… If you book directly on our official website, you’ll save a lot more money than if you go through any travel comparison websites or travel agents (due to third party costs and commision). Our direct customers can benefit from a more exclusive service, a better rate and better guarantees on their booking. So if you haven’t already booked, good, because you won’t miss out on these benefits!
And finally, we are very pleased to announce that we are continuing with a project that is very close to our hearts this year. Last year we created an adventure comic book where our friends Lucy Bosch Rogozán and Iker Marín Calamardo were depicted as protagonists of the story. Sadly these two brave children suffer from rare conditions (Lucy from Joubert syndrome, which affects her joints and ability to speak; and Iker from cerebral palsy, which affects movement in his legs) which means they have to spend a lot of time in hospital. Like last year, we are selling the comic book at our resort so that all proceeds go to helping these two children and their families and our pirates also portray them in our evening shows. We are very grateful for all those who bought a comic book last year and we aim to raise even more money this summer with your help so that we can continue trying to help make a difference to their lives.
