Everywhere you go around Majorca, it’s easy find exquisite places to relax on golden sands, and Portals Nous is no different. There are two very diverse beaches to be found in the area. The first, next to the luxury marina, is the Oratori beach which features calm turquoise waters, sun loungers and parasols, watersports facilities and much more. The beach sits opposite a small, mysterious island, is home to one of the best beach bars in Majorca. The delightful Roxy’s Beach Club is open throughout the summer season, and you can also admire spectacular panoramic views of Portals Nous, especially during sunset, just a few metres above this beach.
If you continue walking a few minutes past the Oratori beach, you will stumble across the Cala de Portals Nous, a marvellous cove with beautiful blue waters and a typical Mediterranean landscape.

Whilst the beach also has various sun loungers and a charming chiringuito beach bar, it also boasts a few great spots to try some cliff jumping for those brave enough.
The marina in Portals Nous is what sets this small town apart. Along with the numerous superyachts that are moored in Puerto Portals, you can also indulge at a wide range of top, exclusive restaurants and bars. There is a plethora of choices from fresh local seafood and Mediterranean dishes, to Italian and Asian cuisines. Golf
There are all kinds of activities for families in Portals Nous and we are starting with the traditional kind. Whilst there are a wide range of golf courses in Majorca, especially around our hotels in Santa Ponsa and Palmanova, the Real Golf de Bendinat backs onto this area of the island. With luscious green fairways and greens and a wealth of yardage, it’s a great place to practice your swing, on a course with spectacular views, designed by Martin Hawtree.
Water sports

For those who prefer to get the adrenaline pumping, there is also an excellent selection of water sports activities available to try in Puerto Portals. If you wanted to try jet skiing or even flyboarding, then this is place for you. Alternatively, the beaches are a great place to enjoy some diving, snorkelling, paddle boarding and you can even rent pedalos.
Shopping
With the glitz and glam Puerto Portals has brought to Majorca, comes a wealth of excellent shopping options in the town. You can find a plethora of designer shops and boutiques, where you can grab that high-end summer dress, gorgeous swimwear or those fabulous accessories to accompany you around your day trip to Portals Nous.
How To Get To Portals Nous
This luxurious port can be found just a 10-minute drive from our family hotels and resorts in Santa Ponsa, and only 8 minutes from Hotel Tropico in Palmanova. A return trip in a taxi would cost approximately 20-25 euros.
Alternatively, there are buses that can take you in between these coastal towns. Line 104 is available from both Santa Ponsa and Palmanova, whilst line 107 also travels between Palmanova and Portals Nous.
